Anyone planning on watching Celebrity Apprentice?

Yeah I am, at least the first episode.

I watched "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" last night (which I know belongs in the Movie forum). While they were shooting the porno, the crew is discussing Lost, making comments like "They're on the island, they're off the island, who can keep up with that shit?!" Was kinda funny.

So the Celebrity Apprentice is kind of iffy so far. I am glad Dice got canned. I had always thought his persona was just schtick, but as it turns out he's really a dick.

Damn judges on American Idol need to stop all their bickering and just freaking say what they need to say. AI ran late so the DVR didn't show the final two they picked, although I've since learned they shocked everyone and made it a top 13 (Jasmine, Megan, Matt, Anoop). Still irks me I didn't get to see it. :(

We've been watching the first hour of celebrity appentice until The Unit comes on.

Agreed on Dice! Never liked him. To me, he was ripping off Sam Kinison.

Rodman has really showed his ass. He needs to be gone!

Both teams have had their problems to date.

Anybody watch Life on Mars?

I didn't see the Brit verson, but am enjoying the US version. I get a little grin or two out of each show...

I have three TiVod to catch up on as I recover. Good deal.

I watched the first few episodes and liked it, but it wasn't must see for me. It has been cancelled btw.

On March 2, 2009, it was announced that ABC would not be ordering a second season, cancelling the series. The decision was made early in order to give the producers enough time to wrap up the show's storyline, but the network will air all of the 17 episodes it has ordered. The final episode is scheduled to air April 1, 2009.[7]
Fans of the show drafted a petition to keep the show on the air.[8]

That's ok by me. 17 episodes will be enough to wrap it up and not have it drag on and on and on ala Lost or X-Files.


I'm not sure how the last episode can air on April 1st 09. I don't think that equals 17 shows...

I'm still fuming over Journeyman being cancelled. It's good that they'll wrap up Life on Mars, maybe explaining wth is going on?? I would be interested to hear the story.

I never watched Journeyman, but heard that it was good.

I think the intention of canceling early was to allow the producers of Life on Mars to end the story. I'll hate see it go off the air, but a finish and explanation would be nice...

I've really enjoyed LOST this season.

LOST has been very good this season. I am liking Sawyers character more and more as I watch it.

I even watched a couple episodes of The Apprentice and thought it was pretty good but probably won't watch any more. I hate all the drama of the board room.

I haven't missed watching American Idol. The Office I think has been good. Last weeks episode where he quit and is going to start his own paper company killed me laughing.

I've been watching a lot of CNN, MSNBC and FOX News lately for the political views. TruTv is another channel I am starting to get into as well.

I hadn't watched American Idol this season until Tuesday night and I was entertained. I didn't watch the results show though. I'll probably watch the rest of the season. I've enjoyed LOST too though it's definitely different.

Last night was ER's final episode. I enjoyed the retrospective that aired beforehand. I had forgotten how different than anything else on TV it was when it started.

The final episode was okay. They seemed to want to make it similar to how it started with similar storylines. I didn't understand why we were seeing new doctors in the final episode. That was just weird. It was great to see the characters who had left, though.

Rom, I can't believe you avoided AI till now! I think my favorite right now is Kris. He seems real and his vocals have been flawless so far.

Danny's story is very touching (his wife died a couple months before he auditioned), and he's okay. But I think Kris is more talented.

Adam might wind up winning it, though. His voice is amazingly powerful. But I'm not that into it. When he goes into screaming woman mode, it's a turn off. Yet the audience and the judges seem to love it. So maybe I'm missing something.

I'm surprised at how quickly Lil Rounds went from favorite to middle of the pack. She has disappeared.

Megan really blew it. How can she sing with that style and NOT sing Duffy/Adele/Amy Winehouse? She tried to force her style of singing on songs that don't work. Shame.

Lost has been a mind f*ck as usual this season. I liked that Hurley was trying to understand the whole time travel thing himself this week. Aren't we all.

Yeah, the question and answer session with the other esp guy (don't remember his name) was nice comic relief.
