I have done this but find I can not get a satisfactory meat to fat ratio.

Costco and a local meat market has the best pre-ground beef I can find.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

        • My 12 y.o. just left for her first school dance. She was so excited. Changed clothes several times, was stressed because her phone battery was low and she couldn't take pictures. I can't even remember my first 7th grade dance.

LOL. Like my other daughters, she wouldn't dare speak of a boy, especially at this age. Besides, I told her I can't beat the shit out of a young kid but I can go to his house kick his dads ass just for GP.

                  Cute

I'm 4 years out from the same scenario

I remember slow dancing in 7 and 8th. Some fun stuff happens up close and in the dark, even back then.

                  Yeah, be scared.

That is probably because you stood in front of the amplifiers all evening long except for the moments you slipped outside to cop a smoke.

Probably! But tell me what it was like to get a ride to the dance in a brand new Model T.

There's a reply to this one that reminds him he was at an all boys school but Gonz has been in an ill temper of late so I'll just go for the reveal instead of the zing.

                            • My little man is in the process of becoming a black belt in tae kwon do - he had his first round of testing on Saturday, and has another round this coming weekend, with the final test on October 6. He turns 12 on October 11, and I am absolutely in AWE of his skill and dedication to this sport at such a young age.

The first round of testing consisted of 100 situps, 110 pushups, nunchuk basic motions, 100 skip kicks and 100 double roundhouse kicks. I didn't videotape the situps & pushups, but here are his 100 double roundhouse kicks. Around 1 minute in you can see him practically keeping pace with a woman in the background. She is one of the Masters of his dojang and is a 4th degree black belt (testing for 5th degree). That's MY boy! :-)
