Well I guess its not to hard to watch the Ducks while camping these days.

We head out first thing Sat. morning (8am-ish).

I'm just finishing up watching the DVR of last nights game (5-3 ANA win).

I will be back in time for the next game (Wednesday).

However, I will be able to watch all the playoff hockey I want though via portable satellite 4K' up on da mountain.

Lifes good.

Watching my kid catch her first (five) fish this past camping trip was ultra-non-fb related stuff that made (our) camping trip.

That look of surprise and elation on a kids face is priceless when they are landing their first fish.

She thought the trout were "pretty" but the catfish made her cry and run from the beastly thing.

After 17 months, the adoption of our daughter Julia has been finalized. Needless to say, my wife and I are thrilled. She has three older kids from a previous marriage, but this is my first go-round at full-fledged fatherhood.
