Tried just one last night and got the major alarm to stop but it's now beeping. Looked at the breaker box and don't see which breaker the alarms are tied too so I'll have to shut the main off and back on. Thinking that's not going to work but it's worth a try.
The electrician I use for wire ups had to shut off the mains for a particular job I was on. It had to be off for about an hour. The mains was off for 30 seconds when a door opened and an extremely chalk White male teenager walked out and said in a very slow, dull, depressed, sombre voice, "has there been a fucking power cut?"
Told him no, we had intentionally turned it off to do a job.
He said, "Ive just fucking lost ten hours of championship manager. Was just about to play in the European cup final!"
A serious lesson in always backing your game up as you go. Thought the poor lad was gonnae jump off the Forth Road Bridge.
"...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”
This thread is where I felt like putting up my first post in a while because this is where it belongs.
Not sure I should rejoice just yet because the final tests on my dads surgically removed" cancerous" liver cells haven't been finalized but the surgical team believes his liver spot was/is benign and does not require any additional medical attention beyond close watching via CAT scan every 3 mos. and then every 6 mos..
For this type of news, my entire extended family has had their near futures made (in a great way).
With that said, I am still saddened by those on this forum that did not or have not received such good news regarding their own personal health issues or those that are near and dear to them. For those folks, I am still thinking of you and yours for better news ahead.
