Nice job, CG. But why on earth didn't you cover the countertops before you started? Men, sheesh.
I put up a tin backsplash in my master bathroom recently, after a small remodel project exposed some mustard yellow wall (!!) next to the wallpaper. It was a good solution since painting over that small section instead of wallpapering would have looked out of place. I was surprised how nice it looked.
Anyways, the tin was pretty easy to work with. That tile looks much more challenging.
