The back of my house faces northwest and sits up high. I am routinely treated to a gorgeous view of the sky at sunset from the kitchen window, dining room window and small screened in back porch. And I can see the city lights. Not to mention during the day I can see the mountains way off in the distance.

When I started the long journey of house hunting, I wanted to fall in love with the house. As time wore on, I began to think that would not be possible in my price range. I was ready to settle on just liking it a whole lot. Even then I became skeptical of finding that. Then I found this house and I really really liked it and the price made me like it even more. I remember when I looked at it, I thought the view was way cool, but I didn't think more deeply about it. Now that I'm here and have experienced the view for over a week, I realize I did get to fall in love. Maybe not with the whole house, but definitely with the view. I'm smitten.

Sounds like a great place to build a two-story house. You might consider buying the property behind you too.

went out tonight on the river and lost 15 salmon... couldn't get them near the boat, it was a blast and on top of that witnessed a metor in flames go across the sky, looked like it was just above the tree tops...awesome with a capital A
