I've had some good developments in life lately.
First of all, I'm moving out of this apartment. I've been here for a couple years and I loved living here, but ever since the woman who lived upstairs from me moved out, its sucked. The guy who moved in up there is a stomper, everytime he walks it sounds like a herd of wild buffalo upstairs. The house I'm moving into is a 3 bedroom house with a nice big yard, so Lars will be able to do some running and playing outside instead of less time passed out on his back on the couch like my avatar shows lol.
Best thing about the house is the rent is actually lower than what I'm paying for my apartment, which is up to $460 a month. I'll be gone by Feb 1st from here.
I also recieved a nice raise at the beginning of the month, and I'm just glad to have a job right now. There's a couple factories that have closed completely here in the last couple of years, and a lot more of them that are cutting back their workforce. Things are looking up though.Lions free since 6/23/2020

GVL and I have been showing up for the forum game without tickets the last two years. Come gametime, (if we feel like going in at all) we walk up to the stadium and see what's going on with people selling tickets. We usually get seats for $20 each or less. This year we didn't negotiate well enough, as I think we spent $20 each but could have easily gotten in for $10, I bet.
The way I see it, we show up to catch up with the gang, and then maybe we'll just go to a pub during gametime if we don't feel like going in. Also, if we do go in, we're not contributing ticket money to WCF, since we're buying tickets for half price or less, and he already got paid for them. Only drawbacks are 1) You wind up watching a shitty game and 2) You give WCF $8 for a beer. The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.
