I just got home from Lake Orion for a few hours. What a way to travel. My son has a friend who owns a charter service, 20 minutes from Lake Orion to the small airport, 1 hour 20 minute flight to our airport and 10 minutes to my house. Took care of a problem and am headed back in about an hour. I don't think I'll ever drive to Lake Orion again.

Leti, Ben & I will be renting a 3/2 house in a very nice neighborhood. I'll do the walk-though tomorrow afternoon and will get the keys if we still want it.

best part....it's 8 minutes from my new job.

The town we'll be living in still has that small town kinda feel to it....not all Hollywood or California big city glitz and glammer.

Another great thing I just found out this afternoon is that the contract I'm now in charge of is making too much money. I've been instructed to start buying stuff for the office before the accounting folks slash my next fiscal years budget (fiscal year starts OCt. 1)
