I lost my Mom on Thanksgiving Day 1993 so I feel your pain. To commemorate her passing I light a candle & take a shot of Jack Daniels.
I could say it is less painful as the years pass but I'd be lying.
Perhaps you could come up with your own commemoration to honor her memory?
Enjoy the week with your daughter.

My youngest daughter is pregnant. She went for her second ultra sound within a month to determine if things are okay, because she is in a high risk category. The whole family got to go in for the ultra sound including her sister who drove the 240 miles from Toronto to get here. No one wanted to miss out on the opportunity to have their day made simply by seeing what identical twins look like at 14 weeks!Comment
