Can't find an appropriate thread to post a Happy Christmas wish to everyone....., myself and the wife are off up north to Aviemore today for the festive period, (some asshole in my wife's work is getting married there,...... A wedding in Aviemore at Christmas? REALLY?) Guaranteed there will be no Wifi reception so goodbye internet and civilisation. Hope y'all have a great Christmas...... And manage to look grateful when opening gifts! (A chess set? Fking excellent! Cheers!) Incidentally, that chess set is still in it's cellophane wrapper from 5 Christmases ago. Have a great Christmas.

Still in the wrapper from last year are an electric candy dispenser and the card game "Phase 10", stolen from "Books and Runs" we used to play back in the day (actually still play it from time to time) with a double poker deck.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone. I hope it's a special day for everyone.------------

BTW, "Uno" came out in the 80s and was also blatantly stolen from a poker-deck game we played back in the day. I think we called it "Mau-Mau." At least that was one of the 100s of card games we played back then. And you called "Last Card" versus faggoty "Uno".
I played those commercialized games (Uno and Phase10) a total of 5 times maybe.Last edited by Drew; December 23, 2014, 06:47 AM.------------

Have a good Christmas Marko, I learnt to ski in Aviemore with the school, had my first haggis there too (albeit from a choppy). They used to have a go-kart track there too. We went there a few years back after we went to the Wildlife park, found the YMCA I stayed at with the school. Looked at going back there but it was quite priceyAAL Quintez Cephus

I'm getting a new car! My old car is a 2003 and it just has problem after problem. I think I'm going to buy an Edge (they are ordering one for me), but I was deciding between an Edge and an Explorer. The Edge is a little smaller SUV - 5 seats vs 7 seats. I'm single and have no kids, but I do have 6 nephews and a niece. I should be OK with 5 seats as I never tote them around at the same time. The most I'd have is 3. Am I making the right decision by going with the Edge instead of the explorer?

Loved my Explorer! However, I needed a vehicle with room in the back to transport items with high volume.
I have never driven an Edge but was very impressed with it from the conceptual stages and seeing it in showrooms and other venues.
Escape might be more economical for every day driving and have ample room to transport kiddies or other things you might want to pick up/move.I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

My ol' Jimmy has served me well for a long time - but gave me the middle finger this morning. Just too cold, I think the fuel line froze.
If the Ford's pull their NFL advertising, maybe I will consider buying a Ford (only ever owned GM products - except for my first car, a Subaru).
Anyhow, a couple of months ago I picked this up. You may laugh now, but give me a couple of years!!!!
And yeah... I am going to be dealing with some blind spots.Attached FilesLions Fans.
