      • Nick, I'm not sure how all this "makes your day"? Sarcasm, I assume?
The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.

          • 2nd grade........should be well beyond all this separation stuff.

and about the makes your day stuff.......I've been working with kids with all sorts of disabilities for about 15 yrs now. I've been bit, hit, kicked, scratched, followed around for 8 hours and called everything but a white man (literally 8 hrs a day for about six weeks by this 40 something guy), spit on, ect, ect.

All you can do is laugh. If you take it seriously you'd just be pissed all the time and stress yourself out, so I smile and act like it's all really normal. At my job I guess it is......on the up side I get like 4 months a year paid vacation. The next time you're going to bitch about teachers getting so much time off, think of me

              • Update on the puppy, received a call from the breeder last night. We were puchasing the puppy from a farmer in Indiana, south of Fort Wayne. The barn that housed the puppies and several other animals cought fire and burnt to the ground. The adult dogs were able to get out but the puppies were destroyed. A very sad night.

                    • My neighbors at the end of my street have a beautiful Palomino horse named Lacey. Frequently, she'll come over to the fence when I'm walking by with my dog, Sonny. She loves him. We will usually go right up to her and pet her a bit and then head on our way. It always makes my day to see her.

Earlier in the winter, when the snow was quite high, she was able to bend over the fence and actually sniff underneath Sonny. Sonny just sat there smiling, he wasn't scared a bit. I was so bummed I hadn't caught that with my camera.

Today, I took the camera on our after work walk and was able to get a few good shots. The snow is down quite a bit so she can't visit as up close and personal as she was but it's still pretty cool.

This first shot was as she was coming over to visit...

                            • Awwwwww. Very nice. Maybe she thinks she related to Sonny since they have the same coloring. ;)

                              • haha good point! But, she used to have a companion out in the yard with her. Another golden retriever. They were great buds. The dog died after a couple years, though (got out and got hit by a car). I'm sure she misses him. She's the only one there now, although she is well taken care of.
