I don't know that I have ever had the occasion to use it or if it is a term I would use it, but I had no idea that the term "dumb" to describe someone that is mute is offensive.

I've been studying photography since the beginning of last year and it's been going really well. Today, I completed my first Cinemagraph and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I thought some of you might enjoy it.
