The only time I've ever done a half I was somewhere in the 2:20s. I'd love to be able to run one in the 2:10 range.

We had some snow recently. . .about a half inch. . .of course everything slowed to a crawl and some people spent the night in their cars stuck in traffic jams, as over 400 accidents occurred county-wide and clogged the main roads.
As the comment in the link below says, "don't worry about us in the south, we just busted out our snowplow!"

Just got all of my homework done for the week. I can now have 3 days off if I want. But, knowing me, I will go and print at school in the morning and start on next weeks work. I also have another awards ceremony to go to from last semester (4.0....again) on Tuesday, so I need to keep on top of things. All is going good yet.My window of opportunity is expanding.....

This will be a nothing "makes your day" to you guys, but it's MADE MY DAY big time. At a job in Dublin Street Edinburgh. A really nice elderly woman had central heating problems. I came here yesterday and got the heating working but her radiators really were not very hot at all. It was looking like a re pipe job......, and cash this old deary probably couldn't afford. So I put two bottles of a rapid cleanser in the system (sentinel x800) to work it's wonders overnight, .... Turned up this morning,..... All radiators absolutely roasting, and she is delighted.
Yes, I could've got a repipe job out of it, but her being delighted was worth it."...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”

My son got recruited by one of the coaches to wrestle. I believe the football coaches are doing it for football when he goes to high school. He has no chance of wrestling in a meet because the weight limit. But he really likes it, they practice with the Harrison team one week and the Farmington team the next. So in practice he is wrestling the high school kids. He plays all sports but basically his one true position is left tackle. He's already 6'3 and he has 33 1/2 inch arms if I'm measuring it right.
So he had to cut his hair for wrestling and that made her day. He truly had an unkept mop on his head.

He's been playing basketball since he was 4 but its never really clicked. His basketball season just ended and wrestling began. I'm not sure he'll make the high school team, if he does it will be solely as a practice player because of his height. In what was like his last game it started to click. He was started to abuse players in the low post and started grabbing a lot of boards. But his footspeed is too slow, all the athletic genes went to his sisters.
I'm hoping this wrestling will help him learn how to play lower on the football field. He plays too high for an offensive lineman.

Bloody hell. Just went back a page. Thanks for the nice words regarding old Mrs Dolan and her blocked heating pipes. I feel slightly bad though because I do like to "look" for problems on peoples heating systems! I'll stop that and be a nice person all the time now!
Tony....., the year Hibs win everything, I will either be in an old folks home or dead."...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”
