  • No, they tipped over $8 on a $13 order. That also made my day, btw.

        • I would have given a $5 or rounded up and just handed over a $20.

They were just 4 high school girls having a movie night together. I think it was a bit of an experiment, they put the picture on Twitter and instagram. One of my coworkers sent me a text with it because she follows one of the girls. After a little investigating I found one of the other girls and thanked her for the sign. She tweeted to one of the other girls "frank found me on Twitter. Mission accomplished."

Anyhoo, I will take that any day over someone yelling WHOIZIT? After I knock on their door.

As for the tip, on a one pizza order, I would of been ok with $2 plus the change, anything extra is gravy.

              • So my usual $1.50 plus the drivers portion of the mandated delivery fee gets the driver over 2 bucks.

                Perfect.

Oh, oh. Even if they are 18 too young for you, Frank.

I pick mine up. don't wait for a cold delivery.

.........No harm intended Frank but in my hood delivery=cold.

                    • Mine always come "piping hot". I always tell the delivery person not to drink and drive. I think that's a pretty god tip.

Even if they were 28 that's too young for me. What made my day was something friendly/funny as opposed to some of the crap I put up with.

I'm sorry your local pizza shops suck. Our bags are insulated and almost all of the time when I open the bag steam comes out. Out of curiousity, how much do your pizzas cool down on the drive home?

Much less than if I get it delivered.

......it should be noted that after I order it, I leave to pick it up and it usually is not ready when I get there, I have to wait for it to come out of the oven and for them to cut it and box it up.

                          • I would say it's your shop. The drivers are probably taking too many orders at once and their bags aren't insulated well. There's no excuse for constant cold delivery pizza with all the available technology

LOL. Did not think of that when I posted. My brother cooks amazingly well! Although he has never been paid to do so. He started as a server when he was 14 and has worked in the restaurant industry his whole life, but has never worked in the kitchen.

As an update. Tiger Woods joined Obama at my brothers club. He said he did get to meet both of them. I found out today from my father that my brother was more excited last week when he got to meet Jack Nicholus, Arnie Palmer and Greg Norman.
Your right! Matty Boy will save us all!!
