I freaking love Squeeze, Marko. They were pretty popular here. the video for "black coffee in bed" is one that I will remember forever - it was in heavy rotation when I was a teen. And there was a Burger King commercial that used Tempted a few years back.
Never chew a pickle with a little slap and tickle you have to throw a stone to get the pool to ripple....

Aw man, that's awesome you guys liking Squeeze. They were a huge part of my teen years too Kayrone......, superb. Nice video CGVT.
Try and get on the bbc radio two "player" for the Jeremy Vine show...., go to around 1:20pm British time......, they play three songs....., one excellent version of "Up the Junction"....., just love Glenn Tilbrooks voice.

I was all set to see Squeeze at Cropredy Festival this year, My son is in the Scouts and they volunteer to clear litter, park cars etc. They also have parents to help. My son was absolutely zonked out so i spent the evening listening to Squeeze from our tent! Still this thread reminded me to look and see who's there this year, looking forward to 10cc. I'm sure I've seen some Jethro Tull vids on here, so some of you might know Martin Barre, who's also playing.

If you fall during your life, it doesn't matter. You're never a failure as long as you try to get up.
Jethro Tull are amazing Dean. Saw them at the Milton Keynes Bowl waaaaay back in 86. My all time heroes are Marillion and they headlined their own "Welcome to the Garden Party" festival......, Jethro Tull were special guests that day. Brilliant stuff.
Last.fm concert page for "Welcome to the Garden Party" at The National Bowl (Milton Keynes) on June 28, 1986. Discuss the gig, get concert tickets, see who's attending, find similar events.
That poster makes it look like Gary Moore (RIP) was special guest, but it was Jethro Tull. Magnum were pretty awesome too.

Hey, I'm a Tull fan, too. Ian Anderson is an amazing composer. Of all the concerts I have ever seen, the Tull crowd takes the cake for best people watching. People from ALL walks of life show up at Tull shows!

This morning I had a job interview and I actually had to take a Wonderlic test for it. :-). I hope they tell me what my Wonderlic score is - that would be a fun conversation starter around draft time! (And wish me luck - I am very interested in this position, and after 20 years I do believe I am due for a career change!!

I hope you don't mind me saying...., but it sounds like a great title for a Porno flick, "Wonderlic"......, what is a Wonderlic test? And whatever it is Kayrone......, whether it's porn, or something else....., I hope you did great!

Good luck Kayrone! When you say career change it makes me wonder if you are switching companies in your same field, or is this something completely different?
Haha Marko. Wonderlic is a test that they administer to potential NFL draftees to test thei smarts. The one I took was 50 questions in 15 minutes...it felt like an iq test. There were math problems, spatial reasoning type questions, and lots of vocabulary (which two words have the same meaning, opposite meaning, etc.). I think I did well, it was pretty easy, and I actually finished in the allotted time, which is unusual, so I walked out feeling like a brainiac. ;-)
Bummer, completely different. I am burned out, and sick of being 100% commission based. I'm really hoping I get this one, as it sounds like it would be a good fit for my skills and it would be an exciting new path to take. Here's hopin'!
