I went to this show in New York a few years back. It was hilarious. And yes the front rows got plastic sheets to protect from all the fake blood flying around.

Ha! We were in seats 9-10 in the same row for Neil Young. No watermellon juice to be seen. Great place to see a concert.I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

An old friend who used to cover the Tigers for the CTV network in Windsor called me the other day...funny, he knew my number but not my email address. He's all stoked about The Tygs being back in the playoff hunt. He's heading to Detroit from Edmonton tio catch the games there. We did the 84 series and the 84 alcs together and he wanted to send me some "stuff" I haven 't spoken to him in years and he was stunned when I said I removed baseball from my conscious after the 94 strike.
He kinda stunned me right back recalling some of the antics that we pulled.Any way in the STUFF he sent me was the boxscore from game four of the minny series. We had some serious discussion about that game in the forum last year and it turns out my recollection was perfect...Darrell Evans did play 3rd in that game after Sparky made one of his predictable and dumb moves. Pinch hitting for Brookie with Dave Bergmann who of course didn't get on base. With Brookens out Bergmann went to first and Darrell to third, where he let a ground ball go right through his legs. While this isn't stuff to make your day, it's kind've nice to take a trip down memory lane......The best part of the 87 series was the final 10 days when the Jays who were up by two games going into a four game series at home against the Tigers, would come to Motown a week later and get swept.... giving the tigers the division title.
Every game was decided by one run. Now here is the best part...He also sent me something Tiger fans will relish.......Ya gotta listen how the Tigers won the title. Believe me this brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye,. You will find this precious link at the bottom of the page. A chance to relive part of that game with the greatest

Yep. He was a man of character who you couldn't dislike even if you tried. Even if he proclaimed on several occasions that ufo's had landed in his yard.
He played for the love of the game.
