Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

    • aw, Dutchy...I miss him so! And to think, I'll be in town this very weekend, I could've met him at Russ for breakfast... ;-)

I guess I'll never learn his true identity (although I'm convinced that I used to work with his kids).

            • romster, only today I saw your post about Cosmo, and I'm very sorry about your loss.

I have 3 cats and a dog at home, and they are like family to me, and I'm lucky that until today I never had to go trough a situtation like that and really hope that won't happen soon (the oldest one, a female cat is about 14 years old).

Was really touched by your post and again very sorry about the loss of your friend.

No. He has actually accomplished it! I am going to get there if there is a lockout next year.

                    • It took me quite a few years to get back into baseball after the MLB strike. Didn't really care too much about the return of the NHL after the most recent lockout until the playoffs that year. If there's an NFL lockout, I have no idea what its going to do to me as long as how far until I get back to it.

                              • I had that Dutchy attitude toward the Lions in my Packfan days. Since I have been back for a few years now I follow the Lions (not close like college ball), but im local so they are on the radio and tv new ect... alll the time.

I hope they win for the long suffering fans. And it would be nice to have good NFL football team in town to watch and would be happy to see the Lions in the playoffs, (I will not jump on the bandwagon) across the board on everything in life I have mellowed with age.
