  • Had a fun filled day in NYC on Monday. Took the wife to a show at Radio City Music Hall for our 17th wedding anniversary. Arrived there in time to crash the Today show and get some screen time... But Jason Verateks' head took up so much space that my cameo lasted only a second. :(

Spent most of the day at 30 Rock, amazing view from the top! The wife enjoyed it all.

      • Cool, SHO. We went to see the Rockettes last year. Great show and a great time.

About the only thing I miss about Cape May is the proximity to NYC.

My best friend living in York, PA just headed to NYC with his wife and kid today to see that Radio City Hall show. Thought it was a smoking deal he got through Priceline to stay at the Millenium Hotel for only $120/night.

Merry Christmas to you and yours SHO from the G's.

                    • Mammoth Mountain beckons snow lovers...

Bimmer, you coming out here this year?

Mammoth gets most snowfall in the world

While we’re getting slammed by the rain here in Orange County, Mammoth Mountain has been hit by snowstorm after snowstorm – and the piles of fun fluffy stuff have added up to make it the ski resort with the most snow in the world.

Those looking about five hours north for their winter vacations will be given the gift of powder at the popular resort.

Mammoth already passed the mark of being the snowiest December on record since 1969, and was touting its claim to the most snowfall in North America a few days ago. But according to skiinfo.com – which tracks snow levels around the world – it can now brag about having the most in the world.

                      16' and counting.

                            Ouch!

Saw that at Target tonight trying to check out at a register that was activated and available, but no one at the register. It turns out that the cashier who was a young male was bending over to fix the end caps (note I have only learned about end cap because my wife also works at target). ...... I was offended but his line was the shortest and got out of there quicker than a lot of other shoppers.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.
