Great pic, DD. It's always fun playing with dogs in the snow. When I was a kid we used to go sledding, and our chessie would chase after us down the hill. When we got to the bottom, he'd tackle us and I had to cover my face to keep from getting slobbered on. Even then, he'd still get my ears...good memories.
Just one question, when is it considered running when one ties a dog to their geriatric walker? ;)
Heh, heh. Tanks on the congrats and the answer to your question is it does not matter who is providing the energy in the run, the only criteria is that you are moving faster than a walk.;-)
Oh I'm reall happy for you Malto. I have always been a dog person as well. In 06 I got my Belgian Trevuren Mix pup from the shelter. She was the runt and the mother stopped feeding her so I took her home and bottle fed her. She is all grown up now and about the smartest most well-behaved dog I've ever known. When it 's been a few days and I arrive home she usually jumps in my arms with arms on both shoulders and gives those "real-honest, I missed and loved you" kisses. She is a great friend and I love her so much!!!! I miss her right up there with my wife and son... Here she is, her name is Scarlet.

Tanks, Sharkie, as a matter of fact when we discussed what name he would choose, he sang out Lo la, Lola......
Tanks Bim! We are busy acclimating and she has no manners or follows any commands (and is not housebroken as posted earlier) but she is really smart and I am betting that within 6 weeks she will know basic commands, her name, and be housebroken.
Tailgunner is in 7th heaven as he has wanted a dog for at least 3 years and he has the patience and will spend the time to train her (with Dads help and guidance, of course). We are now discussing the vocal and visual commands so that there is no confusion to the pup on what is expected when a command is given.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.
Tanks LFIJ. I believe however, there is a way to upload to this server but being an old dumb ass, I forget how to do it as I have done it before but that was longer than trying to remember what I had for breakfast, and honestly I can not remember that either (.........that might be because I did not have time for breakfast.....or that I was too lazy to prepare a breakfast.......note. A bowl of cereal does not qualify for making breakfast but don't ask me what cereal I ate because I will tell you the big box in front of the cabinet that is supposed to be good for me).

I just copied mine and in the window where I am typing right now i just pasted it! And thanks for all the puppy love everyone.... I know Scarlet would love it, she is a huge attention whore!! I always joke to people that a big scary bloody guy with a machette in one hand and human head in the other would break in and she would do her patented move.... ( she comes to your feet and lays on her back and spreads her legs so you will rub her tummy ) it's innocent but it looks terrible!! Needless to say worst guard dog ever, but best friend when your depressed!!!!
I don't even know if I am ready to talk about it.....
Mark, if you upload more than one file in a post, they will turn into links that we'd have to click in order to see the pic. It's an automatic thing. To keep it so the photo displays, just upload one per post.
