Just realized that I have been sharing news w/ my facebook friends but not my forum family. So I apologize and here's the latest muck that's fit to rake....
Career prospects are starting to come up again...
Applied for a job in So. SF and didn't get it. Position was for a Safety Officer
Applied for a job in D.C. transit and have a 2nd interview lined up (all other candidates had to do face to face interviews...maybe I'm in because the new safety director is an old friend). Position is for a Safety Officer
Interviewed for a job in LA and am just waiting for them to send me a written offer (they say they want me). Position is for Project Manager
Got called out of the blue for another job in LA. The safety director is coming all te way up here to interview me. He sent me a letter saying that my interview will be the final one (I didn't realize I was being interviewed over the phone...good thing I didn't say anything derogatory about Brits). The position is Environmental Health & Safety Manager-Rail Transit Projects.
So there we have it in a nutshell.

-----------------------I've fallen into the same habit YT. Then again I think people on here are probably sick of listening to my whining so it's probably a good thing.

Where do you want to live after retirement?
I know that TSA is always looking for good people and being ex-military can only help.
