OK, So last night I was in a Coffee Shop in Oshkosh. Every Tuesday night they host an open mike. Just before I got on stage, Teresa gets a phone update thet we were under a tornado warning. Not good.
Just after I got on stage, the manager comes in and says he spoted a funnel cloud over the building. Man, that place cleared, everyone was running for the basement. I just kept on playing (Livin' on a Prayer). A few folks stayed, within a minute, they started filtering back in, the coast was clear.
Teresa said I was a fool, I told her I really felt at peace during the whole ordeal. God reached down and snatched cancer from my body, he wasn't going to tornado me. Besides, if He did, I was in one of the two places I'd rather be when I go.
So, this morning I wrote a song about the episode, and can hardly wait until next week to play it."Don?t worry about a thing, every little thing is gonna be alright. - Bob Marley "

Here's at least the Lyrics ... I'll see if I can record it before the weekend since we're heading for the UP on Friday.... Main street in Oshkosh has been torn up since March, a real mess, and this place is on Main Street. Based it off a song I heard back in a 5th grade talent shop.
1)
He went on down to Oshkosh just to take in all the lights,
They tore up all the roads it was a terrible sight,
So he went to the New Moon 'cause they're havin' open mic
And everywhere he went he gave his war whoop.
Oh what a big bold man was that desperado,
He horsed around like a man from Colorado,
And he played right through that ole' Toronado,
and everywhere he went he gave his war whoop.
2.)
The sky was turning gloomy but he didn't seem to care,
He looked out at the people there was panic everywhere,
And then before he knew it they were headed for the stairs,
And everywhere he went he gave his war whoop.
Oh what a big bold man was that desperado,
He horsed around like a man from Colorado,
And he played right through that ole' Toronado,
and everywhere he went he gave his war whoop.
3.)
They said it's like Titanic, on the night that She went down,
there was a lot of panic but the music just played on,
And soon before you knew it that tornado it was gone,
And everywhere he went he gave his war whoop.
Oh what a big bold man was that desperado,
He horsed around like a man from Colorado,
And he played right through that ole' Toronado,
And everywhere he went he gave his war whoop.
And everywhere he went he gave his war whoop.
