Congrats Gramps. Oddly enough my brother called me at 3:30AM this morning to tell me he is a new grampa himself. I am a great uncle. I will call him later today to get the details.
Tanks, all. Even though I have had a sleepless night and am at work, my energy level is really pumped. I am so happy for #1 son. He is going to be a great Dad. Mrs. Seatbeltboy is a tremendous Mom also. I am one blessed Gramps.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.
Congrats Mark. I feel bad for the Daughter in Law. My wife went through a similar long induced delivery with our 1st daughter, It was like 20 hours after inducing, she didn't have to go through a C Section though. She had maxed out on the platosin and she was telling them to break the water or it wasn't going to happen. They didn't break her water until after she maxed out and then the delivery came very fast after that.
for my two - we were told up front it we could do natural birth that could end up being a longer delayed process because dilation was not occuring fast enough, with possibility of stress to the babies and breach if one happened to turn after the other came out, or do the c-section and get 'em out.
Oddly enough she asked ME what I wanted to do
She chose (after a short discussion) the c-section
