Congrats Is!!! You can look past the "terrible" part as long as healthy and happy stay with them for a long time.
Sounds like fun Froot, it's not always the end result as long as she enjoy's doing it.
Heh, heh. The length of the terrible twos depends on the kid and the parents.
Out of my 5 one lasted until he got into kindergarten. There was a reason for that. His home life was upside down as his mother and I were divorced soon after he entered the terrible twos and until he had better structure in his life, he just did whatever he wanted to do when he wanted to do it.
Parents have a huge impact on how long this stage lasts. Parents that want to be the kids friend usually have to endure a longer period. Parents that are loving but firm in teaching good behavior usually get quicker results.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.
I hear you froots. Got (2) four year olds and picking up after them daily becomes it's own chore. My wife had this silly idea that giving them a playroom in the house we moved into last May would somehow contain all their stuff.
NOPE
congrats Islair - 2 is a milestone!
Markus - I agree is your assessment. Divorce is alot harder on kids and they need both a stable home and a parental unified front...
My daughter in-law was induced into labor at 5:30 AM Dec 2. I arrived at the hospital at 12:30PM. After 21 1/2 hours of labor it was determined that she was not going to be able to give birth naturally so they took the child by C-section.
My third grandchild and first grandson- made his debut at 2:51 AM Dec 3. He weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz. and 21 inches long. We were allowed to visit Mom and child at 3:50 AM. Both are doing wonderfully.
Pops is getting ready to go to work after a sleepless night but with a huge smile on his face.
Dad and son are in my avatar.
I would post some of the few pictures I took but forgot how to imbed them from my puter.
There is nothing that compares to holding a newly arrived bundle of joy!
