I'm actually now starting to get concerned that the Wings are going to get a little too much downtime between series.

I expect them to come out rather flat in the first couple games while they get their edge back. Hopefully they'll play a team that went 7 games to balance it out.

Roberto Luongo is a horrible mess, and Alain Vigneaul has no option but to play him now. I give the edge to Chicago, even though game 7s anything can happen.

Back in 95 I learned a valuable lesson. I knew the Wings would be in the Cup. We just had that kind of team but I was scared of Lindros and the rough Philly team. So when NJ Devils were making their Cinderella run I jumped on their bandwagon because they were the easier draw.

Next thing we're getting pummeled by the Devils. I never root for a team Detroit will have to play.

Not many teams could do shit with the neutral zone trap the Devils used. They ran interference between the blue lines like I've never seen before.
