Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

  • I bet if Chicago gets in, they knock off Vancouver. See previous quotes about home ice advantage and seeding.
I made baseball as fun as doing your taxes!

    • That's it; Wild just got the empty netter. They lead 5-3, 12 seconds left.

I wouldn't be surprised if they knocked off both Vancouver, then San Jose.

        • Really will depend on which Blackhawks team shows up. They've been really mercurial this season.

Both teams have huge monkeys on their backs come playoff time, especially the Sharks.

                  • I wonder why the NHL needs to have geographical conferences. Mix them up like the NFL conferences. The Wings have played the West for so long I prefer those teams, but I would like to see the Wings play Toronto and Montreal more, especially the Toronto.

                    • I have stated this before and still feel strongly that the original 6 should have no less than a home and home each season.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

I'd do the same for the "next 6," or five, I guess, the Blues, Flyers, Penguins, Stars and Kings. Did the other team move or contract? Wasn't it in the Bay Area?

The California Seals, became the Cleveland Barons and eventually merged with the Minnesota North Stars.

                            • They shoulda let Jerry Seltzer have the franchise. Seltzer says when he made his presentation, Bruce Norris fell asleep; he knew he was in trouble when nobody bothered to wake him up.
