If Yzerman wanted to run a team, it was going to have to be somewhere else. Holland and Nill aren't going anywhere anytime soon, nor should they... even to keep Yzerman in the fold.
That said, Yzerman should do fine. He's clearly learned a lot from his time in the Detroit front office. Hopefully he'll do great things in Tampa and beyond.Comment

Couldn't agree more Chemi. I wish Yzerman the best. Let him get his feet wet and then in a few years when he's experienced and knows what he's doing we can grab him back. I want to thank Tampa for supplying Stevie with this internship.
