My opinion of Yzerman (or the Red Wings organization) certainly wouldn't drop in the slightest if he decided he wanted out from under Ken Holland's shadow and try his hand at making the decisions for a team.

Or would you rather tell Holland to take a hike to keep Yzerman in the "family"?

So far in this series, they have been putrid on faceoffs, and that is going to kill you every single damn time.

This is embarrassing to watch.

It's like they aren't even trying to play defense tonight.

If I had to wager a guess, there isn't much communication going on between the defensemen and the forwards. When a defenseman pinches, the forwards aren't rotating back to defense very well. And when the defensemen aren't picking their spots to pinch well to begin with, that is how these breaks are constantly being created.
