            I don't know why I do this to myself.

            I know every season that no matter what the NHL says, they're going to have two rulebooks, one for the regular season, one for the playoffs. And when playoff hockey comes around, I start to think that things aren't right.

            It's the way the game is played this time of year. I shouldn't be surprised by this anymore. I am surprised that the Wings have lost their edge so quickly. This is the sort of lapse that I was worried would cost them, and it finally has.

              The Pens are quicker, crisper and more determined than the Wings right now...

              The interference is not a huge problem IMO...

                        40 minute games against the Penguins aren't going to win the Stanley Cup.

                        I was worried about this sort of thing before the Final started. It's disappointing to see it emerge in a Game fucking Seven.

                          Guess I'll go back home. The hockey gods must have decided that the Wings have won enough. We've been spoiled since 1995. I will turn off the tv immediately. I refuse to watch Crosby carry the Cup around the Joe.
