I dunno. But if Chicago wants to make those sort of horrible plays in their own zone, I'm sure the Wings will be perfectly willing to score a few more goals off of them.
They didn't exactly weather that starting rush from Chicago, but it could have definitely been worse, and they ended the period even. That's good, at least.
That was a nice play by Smith to keep it in and get it over to Miller
Yeah, not saying it wasn't a great play. I'm just wondering what Keith (at least, I believe) was thinking when he decided, "Hmm... I've got one red sweater behind me and empty ice. Nah, I'll reverse the play right into the boards with three red sweaters in the area. Yep. That's the ticket."
Well, I guess it was matching minors, so I guess it didn't turn out terrible. I figured they had got him for Goalie Interference, I guess it was something else.
And now the Wings on the Power Play. If Detroit can score here, they can really break Chicago's fight.
