That's interesting, how the NHL does it. They're not suspended; they'll be paid for the Columbus game. The League just says, "You're too hurt to play in our All-Star game, so you'll need an extra game to recuperate...RIGHT?" and the team acquiesces. That's OK, Lidstrom and Datsyuk did more damage to the NHL than the League is doing to the Wings. Maybe they'll change their All-Star voting now.

I could not care less about the Wings being represented in a no-check exhibition game. Fans around the league can get to know the Wings by watching them skate around with the Stanley Cup.

I guess it realy was a unilateral suspension, because Holland is appealing it. Also, I guess they played the All Star Game. West 12, East 11, typical defensive struggle. There was a penalty in overtime, first All Star penalty in nine years.I made baseball as fun as doing your taxes!Comment
