You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.
Check it out guys, now we just have to re-sign Modano and get Hasek + Cheli out of retirement:
Czech newspaper Denik Sport reports that it is now certain Jagr will not play in KHL next season. One of the main reasons is that their summer camp starts too early and he feels he needs to focus on managing Kladno (he bought his hometown hockey club last month and it needs a lot of work so it won't go under).
Now, he's aiming to go to NHL and is presumably choosing from Red Wings and Penguins. It seems that Red Wings are the most likely choice. Estimated salary $2.5M.
This rumor should be taken quite seriously, the journalist who wrote it has longtime personal relationship with Jagr...of all the Czech writers, he's the one who is the closest to him. He would not write this if it were utter ********.
Už s ním nepočítáme, Jaromír Jágr za hokejový Petrohrad v příští sezoně hrát nebude. Jednoznačné prohlášení generálního manažera movitého klubu z KHL znamená jediné: angažmá v Rusku definitivně padlo, kariéra hvězdného útočníka nabírá zpátky směr NHL, jak už o tom v minulém týdnu informoval deník Sport. A jaký klub to bude? Indicie teď nejvíce míří k Detroitu!
I've always said I'd bet the West Coast team in a 7th game of the Finals. They are much more accustomed to the amount of travel involved in the series.
I'm cheering for the Bruins but think the hometeam wins as they have in every game this series. Boston is original, a US based team, and Tim Thomas is from flint.
My brother lives in Portland Maine and calls them Massholes also.
you betcha
F#*K OHIO!!!

Jagr huh? Hmmmmmm... I know he always said he'd want to play for the Wings. I wonder what he has left in the tank. I'd bring him in for a look Modano style. He's not the big bruiser that we need to get by the Sharks but he's def skilled.

Looks like six pick Vancouver and two picking Boston. Tim Thomas is a throwback, reminds me of watching Billy Smith (Islanders) as a kid. Should be a good one!

lol Seriously Jagr is 40 years old... hates american woman * (ok) :-) ... anyway pass on this. Ozzy and Draper still want to play next year, sorry guys you had your day is the sun - Time to hang them up...
The Bruins buzz is huge, people are interested in hockey in Boston more than basketball. Game 6 drew a 33.3 rating in Boston, by comparison, Game 6 of last year’s Lakers/Celtics NBA Finals drew a 22.3 rating. They really want the Cup.
The Sedin twins were just as bad, disastrous finals. They were on the ice for ALL of Boston’s goals. Zdeno Chara became the second European born captain to raise the Stanley Cup, joining Nick Lidstrom.
Tim Thomas (also from Flint) is just the second American-born player to be named playoff MVP after New York Rangers defenceman Brian Leetch in 1994. Also against Vancouver.
