          ---------------------------Yes, but it wasn't well known. Looking back I can appreciate the Devils brand of defense much better. At the time the Wings just underachieved to me. Scotty didn't figure it out.

            Not much to figure out. The Devils played a defense that was damn near impossible to break once the Devils had the lead. The NHL had to change the rules regarding interference because of the neutral zone trap.

                        This is actually the worst case scenario for the Wings immediate future.

                        No matter their opponent, said opponent is going to have a few days rest while the Wings have been off for roughly a week. Game 1 might not be pretty for the Winged Wheel.
