Red Wings recalled goaltender Jordan Pearce from Grand Rapids (AHL) today and loaned Joey MacDonald to the Griffins. Mike Modano, Danny Cleary and Pavel Datsyuk all skated today.
?Modano won?t be back right away, but it sounds like the other two will be back in Ottawa (Feb. 2), and I think (Tomas Holmstrom) is expected as well,? Babcock said. Modano is out until March with a lacerated wrist. Cleary (fractured left ankle) and Datsyuk (broken right hand) early next month.

Nabokov is not in playing shape, he has been a playoff bust - but would still be a good back-up. I think Colorado or maybe another team will claim him more so the Wings don't get him as much as they need him.
There was no way Nabokov was going to fall to us. That sucks.
