  • And if he loses, the Hossa Curse will continue.

    • I think he wins it this year myself.. the Blackhawks have been the best team by a good amount in these playoffs.

The wings would be losing to these guys this year too, had they made it past the sharks.

      • I think he wins it too, but just think if he loses? That would be a hard pill to swallow for the 3rd year in a row and yea he would be labeled as _____.

I would have thought the Pens would hate him way more than Detroit, but there is a lot of hate on facebook and local radio... ect for Hossa from Red Wing fans.

          • Of the 3 teams Hossa has been to the Finals with, he's only underperformed for one...Detroit. Hard to see Leino players so well for the Flyers, too.

Shrug.. what can you do... it's not like he doesn't want to win.

                • Leino played well for the Wings last year in the playoffs, but they had hair trigger patience with him because of their injuries and his free agency status.

                      • Running the Lightning? Hopefuly he will run them up to Canada somewhere. I'll root for him to do well, and eventually return to the Red Wings.

                        • If Yzerman wanted to run a team, it was going to have to be somewhere else. Holland and Nill aren't going anywhere anytime soon, nor should they... even to keep Yzerman in the fold.

That said, Yzerman should do fine. He's clearly learned a lot from his time in the Detroit front office. Hopefully he'll do great things in Tampa and beyond.

                          • Couldn't agree more Chemi. I wish Yzerman the best. Let him get his feet wet and then in a few years when he's experienced and knows what he's doing we can grab him back. I want to thank Tampa for supplying Stevie with this internship.
