  • Yeah I was furious when we signed him. He wasn't any good when he played here and sucked in Chi-Town. I never understood it.
    F#*K OHIO!!!

You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

      • I'll be watch on FOX Detroit, Versus won't be joining it until the Nashville-Chicago game is over. If that game goes into OT, Versus could miss the first two periods of Wings/'Yotes.

        • Does the game actually start that late, I thought it might be on an hour delay feed.

            • If you plan on watching the wings on Versus... your screwed. Blackhawks (who should have played yesterday, they haven't even played a game yet) game starts @ 8:30PM and the Wings @ 10PM. Maybe you can catch the last 5 minutes Wings/'Yotes

                Hmmmmm.

Preferential treatment by the NHL to help a team get healthy?
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

                • CHICAGO – The Blackhawks have a few extra days to prepare for their first playoff game against the Nashville Predators.

After the team’s regular- season finale this weekend against Detroit, several players said they expected to start their series against the Predators today. But the NHL delayed the teams’ first meeting until Friday, marking the latest start of any series on the postseason schedule.

Hawks coach Joel Quenne-ville said the delay could help his team.

“I don’t mind the fact that coming off five [games] in eight days to finish the season, we have some time to catch our breath,” Quenne-ville said.

                      • Not looking good so far.

The defense is not playing with any discipline, and everyone seems to be a step slow reacting to where the puck is. That goal they just gave up was atrocious. They left the center of the ice completely open and hung Howard out to dry.

Stuart follows it up by fumbling a pass right in front of the net. He's fortunate a Coyote wasn't hovering like they have been usually, or it would be 2-0 right now.

No one is playing all that well. Period.

                        • If I'm a Coyote fan, what I'm loving is that the Coyotes aren't letting the Red Wings set up behind the Wings' own net. The Coyotes are sending people in to rush their decisions. So far it's paying off.

Wings are also falling all over the place. Wonder if they're not handing what must be some rather poor ice in Arizona in spring.

                          • RWs are slow or Coyotes are fast. Either way, they're getting beat to every loose puck.

                            • Whine all you want, Redmond. If you knock a stick out of a player's hand, it's most likely be called a slash. Stuart doesn't want to go to the box, maybe he should be in better defensive position rather than pretend he's a forward.

Terrible period of play. I don't think they had one legit scoring chance, and were outhustled and outplayed in every way. They're lucky to only be down one. Awful horrible period for the Wings. They need to get their heads out of their asses.
