For those of you who remember Mike Foligno's days as a Redwing, I thought you might like to know that his wife died here in Sudbury yesterday. Janis was only 47 and had been fighting cancer for about five years. I know Mike had four kids Nick and Marcus as well as Cara and another girl, whose name escapes me right now. They are both Sudbury natives. Janis was also the niece of goaltender Eddie Giacomin of Sudbury.
