      A rematch with the Penguins would not be easy. Malkin hasn't disappeared so far this year, and there's always the revenge factor.

          Hurricanes must feel like a team of destiny. On the brink of elimination at New Jersey they beat Brodeur twice to take the series. Then they win game 7 at Boston in overtime. They're hard to kill.

            'Canes and Wings for the cup would not be a bad match up.

            Two good ole Detroit boys goin a each other for bragging rights.

            Illitch has the upper hand but it looks like Karmonous has put together a tough squad.

            Would be a good series. Seasoned vets against the crowd that wants to win one for the guy that signs the checks.
            I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

                Oh, I'm sure Bettman would love a "passing of the torch" moment as the "new" dynasty in Pittsburgh gets revenge over the red machine that defined the last ten years or so.

                  The Pens are pretty darn tough with Guerin and Kuntiz. Pitt has a really stocked team. I dont know much about Carolina. I was surprised to see them even in the playoffs.
