Nope. There may be a bit of recklessness, but I don't really see it.

I'm really not sure bones breaking by smacking against teammates is something you can coach out of a player...

I'm sure it's broken appendages by friendly fire has occured for the Lions but I don't remember one. The Lions had 4 this year

I feel like friendly fire injuries are more often ankle and knee injuries, the amount of broken bones was crazy.

Crap set of consequences last night. Injuries that plagued the defense ...losing Amik that quick set a somber tone to the the game. We could not stop the Redskins O, Goff had a bad outing at the worst time, although the Jameson Williams INT was not on him. I had a worse time last year handling the loss against the 49ers. 15-2 is no small thing given how much this team has had to play through and found ways to win. I trust Holmes and Campbell.

But that's kinda what I mean. Yeah, injuries happen... but this many, and of those particular types? That's just so far beyond the typical distribution for an NFL team that if they replicate that next year, Sheila better start calling in every local priest to finally figure out what the hell is going on in Allen Park.

All I think I know is they will come out stronger for all of this.

Are they practicing too hard? I’m usually not one to question that but I’ve read that he can be tough. Then again, a lot of these are freak injuries. A broken jaw?

If it weren't for all the injuries they would have been balanced. Hutchinson was the killer.

New strength and conditioning coach next year?

These are in game collisions that are breaking bones, it has nothing to do with strength and conditioning. If only it were that easy.
