Goff was awful last night, and the defense simply wasn't good enough to overcome the 5 turnovers, on top of not stopping the Commanders when they were on offense.


Sheila, Brad, and Dan have to do some serious soul searching this offseason.

We need to get better on Defense and improve our O-line, since the majority of the O-line is over 30, outside of Penei Sewell.

Winning 15 games isn't bad. They're clearly not terrible and had so many defensive injuries

The key question with regards to the O-Line is this......Are Sorsdal and Manu on schedule to become starters, key pieces of depth or nothing really.

If one of them are looking like they are going to be a stsrter then you have Sewell/Maghony/Sorsdal or Manu trinity and rebuilding the O-Line doesn't look as daunting.

The Lions are in good shape for the future, the offensive line will largely stay intact for next season. It doesn't make this loss sting any less. This is like one of the Red Wing flame outs in the early 90s.

The season was the silver lining...They went 8-0 on the road....It felt like a game like this was coming...We were hoping that it was the Buffalo game, but really that was just a precourser....You aren't going to win many playoff games in the NFL giving up 45 points.....and that is both on the offense and defense today.

Yeah who knows at this point...They have alot of free agents they need to figure out....they still have several guys coming down the road that need to be paid.....Brad might have to rely heavily on the draft to fill depth...He has drafted well overall, this year not so good so far....

Most of the free agents are not core players, they have cap space and can figure it out. Arnold will be much better next season. They are in good shape, but it's going to be hard to replicate 15-2. They have a lot of their guys already locked up.

Again, that's something to think about down the line.

As far as the 2024 draft and whether it is good or not. The Lions have a deep team and any drafts going forward are going to have the draftees sit a lot of their rookie years. It is not realistic to expect 2023 draft production. That's the extreme aberration.

The scheming was horrendous in this game. Injuries or not with 2 weeks to prepare. The coaching is a monumental fail. That 4th down penalty was unforgivable. This game was over on that stupid 3rd and 1 call when the Lions were running at will down the field and you have an open backfield!? Coulda went up 14-3 and from that point they were playing catch-up.
