I think Glenn and Johnson are going to have similar approaches. They'll interview, they'll listen to offers, and if the right numbers come from the right situation, they'll shoot their shot. Otherwise, they'll happily walk back through those doors in Allen Park for as long as the Lions will have them.

I feel like Glenn will be more willing to take a less ideal situation. I hope not though.

Disagree, at least with regards to Glenn. I think he's been looking to take anything that is offered every single year.

I think Johnson stays. Glenn I'm not so sure of. I think he leaves. In either case I think the coaches LOVE it here and I wouldn't be surprised if they both stayed to acquire three or four SB rings first.

            Nice! 👌

(you WERE joking at the end there, aye?)

Well, I suspect Glenn is going to get fewer genuine offers (if any) for... reasons.

Glenn is a natural fit for both the Jets and the Saints. I'm not sure he will get an offer but those seem like the spots.

I was thinking the Saints because of his previous affiliation.

Troy Aikman said during the SF game that Dan Campbell reminded him of Jimmy Johnson and I couldn’t help but think there are some similarities there. It took Jimmy four years but he turned a 1-15 team into a 13-3 team and won a Super Bowl. Campbell has, also in four years, taken a 3-13-1 team into a 15-2 team. Let’s wish for the same ending.

That and Rick Spielman is helping running the search and they are also interviewing Chris Spielman.

Chris Spielman + Aaron Glenn would be a hell of a get for the Jets in terms of a culture paradigm shift, though you’d have to be assured Woody Johnson and his kids get get the fuck out of the mix.

Bill Barnwell thinks the Packers are going to beat the Eagles, Lions and Rams to get to the Super Bowl. Yeah, OK, Bill.
