If he stays healthy that is a pretty damn good addition.

Teams want runners that run angry. When Samuels is healthy he runs angry and is a difference maker. The problem is that running angry is not conducive to longevity or even staying in the lineup for that matter. It gets harder the older they get.
You are probably right that he's washed and chances are that Washington won't get much out of him, but if they do he'll be a boost to their offenseI feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

I get that, but part of the reason any nicks slow him down is because he isn't a great route runner who gets a bunch of separation,.nor does he have great hands. Maybe that changes in Washington but outside of 2021 he has been an OK receiver that also runs the ball a bit. Washington has a lot of cap space so maybe 18 million dollars is not that big of a deal for them but for the NFL in general that is a huge overpay.
But maybe Washington unlocks something and look like geniuses.

Will be interesting if they try to extend him. If they can extend him and get that number down over the next couple of years, as a 3rd receiver he can be a nice compliment to what they already have. But does Deebo go for that or does he gamble on a breakout year, targeting one last big deal next offseason?
