I think Ford Field would give a better home advantage if it was outdoors.

      • I just kind of think it is the basis of the schedule. The road schedule was weaker than the home schedule.

Sometimes the home field advantage was there and it induced pre-snap penalties. It wasn't there for others. Two of the home losses came later in the year against really good offensive teams against a depleted defense. All the crowd noise and elements do not help much when you are needing to raid the practice squads all over the league. It definitely helped on Thanksgiving though

        • Well Lions get a 3rd round pick for Glenn
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

          • Good for Glenn. There's only 32 of those jobs, after all. Sometimes, if you wanna be the guy, you gotta shoot your shot.

            • The Jets are going after Lance Newmark to pair with Glenn. That could work out real nice if Woody and his kids get the fuck out of the way.

              • Lance Newmark is no match against Brick Johnson.

2 picks. One this year and one next year.

The Lions surely would have preferred to keep Aaron Glenn as their defensive coordinator, but the Jets hiring him as their head coach will bring them a return in the form of draft picks.

I believe we get a 4th rounder for him.

I stand corrected just GMs and HCs

The Glenn pick will be 101.

                        • The comp picks for coaches/GMs are after the player comp picks, which have yet to be announced. But typically they only hand out 2-3 of those a year.

The 101 is projected after the FA comp picks.

                            • Does anyone think Eberflus would be a good DC? I thought his defenses in Indy were pretty good. Not sure if the Lions are a good fit personnel-wise.

                              • Eberflus is a Cover 2 disciple which is a zone heavy scheme. So it would not be a stylistic fit with what they built.
