  • Arnold looks a little worse compared to some of his other draftees (in what was a really strong class of rookie DBs). But Arnold had the most challenging role, especially once the DL was decimated. Lets see what next year looks like.

    • As far as Arnold is concerned, his coverage was incredible. He was astonishingly sticky. What he needs to improve is finishing on his coverage by breaking up the pass, and being too handsy (which he was already starting to improve on).

      • Intra-division poaching of coaches is always interesting. Hopefully Johnson’s impact is not as profound next year as Dan Quinn’s was.

        • If he had gone anywhere else (outside of division) I would have rooted for Ben, but not now.

          • I think he is making a mistake going to Chicago. Seems like a dysfunctional organization that could be the new coach killer that the Lions were.

            • If they don’t get that offensive line figured out, his play calling isn’t going to matter.

              • I hope the fourth quarter, down by 10 play was a package deal that went to Chicago. Simultaneously taking your fastest player's speed, your most sure-handed player's reliability, and your hottest player's explosiveness out of the equation all in one play sounds like a very Bears thing to do.
Where are we going; and what's up with this hand basket?

                • I’d be interested in a more “boring” offensive coordinator after that one.

                  • I would guess that Tanner E. or Scottie Montgomery will be the next OC.

                    • Can we start booing his children now or do we have to wait for a game?

                        • It might be the hire that makes the most sense for the Bears since they hired Lovie Smith. It remains to be seen how well he transitions to be a head coach but they needed a real offensive mind if they are going to make Caleb Williams a good player. I was not impressed with Williams this year, a lot of bad habits.

                          • Raiders had no path to a QB otherwise I think maybe he ends up there. Chicago and Jax were the only two options with a QB in place and neither are great in the front office/owner category.

                              Kerby Joseph A elite!!!!
                              Terrion Arnold D
Arnold lived up to his team number zero he had zero interceptions and zero sacks. )I know you have two bullets a corner occasionally.)
                              He logged over 1000 snaps!
I like him personally as a kid, but he has to up his game considerably next year
Arnold was pretty good all year after a rough adjustment and stepped up later in the season.

He gets a C+ and is on the rise. He is going to be better than a solid corner. I would argue that he already is.

I hope if Johnson goes to Chicago he is an abject failure.

                              • We have to tip our cap to Ben and putting up the offensive prowess he did.

That defense should have cost them 3 or 4 more games, but Ben's offense kicked ass.

With that Said the Bears still suck and i dont foresee them becoming the next commanders.

Let's get a OC who pounds the rock and doesn't leave Goff on an island on 3rd and extremely short.
