Nah, the Chiefs can turn it on in the playoffs.

Ya I think Woodson said that today. We'll see.

      • Compared to the Vikings. The Chiefs pretty much did the same thing last year on their way to a title. In fact they were worse last year. They finished the season 11-6 and went into Baltimore and beat them up in the AFC Championship. Defense travels, the Chief offense is a little suspect.

I'd say they weren't that much worse last year more than the ball didn't bounce their way as much last year. This Chiefs team is more like a 13-3 team masquerading as a 15-1 team. They are still really, really good... but they've had more than a couple friendly bounces and/or low-percentage plays work out their way.

          • For sale: 10 shares of Packer stock. Will throw in a tenderly used Rodgers blow up doll, a foam cheese hat with only one bite, unlimited loss excuses, and an expired referee punch card.

Will trade for one seat on the Detroit bandwagon.
Where are we going; and what's up with this hand basket?

            • Lions just need to say fuck you Jobu, we’ll do it ourselves.

              • Were the Packers just too conservative in the first half?

                • I'd say they just sucked in the first half.

                  • Going 14-3 and losing the division which has never happened in history is the most lions thing ever. So you can bet on that happening now.

                    • Rather lose a extremely good division than win a cupcake. The playoffs started early in the NFC north.

                      • These ain't your pappy's Lions.

Make no mistake, Minny may very well win in Week 18, but it won't be because of some voodoo curse.

I live in a area where I can watch a lot of the AFC South.

Even though the Houston Texans gave us a classic game last month -- the one in which we won despite Jared Goff throwing 5 interceptions -- that team is meh at best.

The Minnesota Vikings whooped them big time earlier this season and Baltimore curb stomped them by a 31-2 score in Houston on Xmas Day.

I agree with you though: I feel having a tough schedule prepares you for the Playoffs.

                          • I'd rather have the #1 seed coming out of a cupcake division than a #5 seed out of a historical division. When you look at a list of Superbowl champs, they do not note the strength of the division. The AFC East was garbage during the Brady era

The 2011 New York Giants won the NFC East with a 9-7 record, upset the 15-1 Green Bay Packers in the NFC Divisional round, then upset both the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl.

So, your point stands. Just to get in the Playoffs is where stuff can happen.

                              • On top of that, the AFC East wasn't as garbage as Froot thinks. During the Patriots run of dominance, the rest of the AFC East in fact had a winning record against the rest of the NFL. The Patriots were just that good.
