People who claim this is an SOL defense are clearly not familiar with SOL.
Yeah. Don't get it twisted, this defense isn't particularly good right now, but they're hustling, scrapping, and are taking advantage of opportunities. As long as they can do just enough, the Lions will be fine.

Yeah, they seem to be playing more zone to account for the injuries. They have gotten pressure. Williams was a #1 pick for a reason. He is pretty slippery.
Anybody interested in SOL defense should look to the SD game in 2007.
