Bills are another team the stat nerds love because they have a football Jesus QB. Let’s get another notch in the belt and I can listen to said nerds come up with reasons why they are concerned for Jared Goff in the payoffs some more.

Lions can win this game. Just do what Stafford and McVay did because they really exposed that Bills secondary and have some big injuries the Leo’s can exploit. I’m expecting another shootout. This is a big statement game between two Super Bowl contending teams.

I feel we will pull this out but one thing people don’t mention that the Bills are a completely different team on the road this year than at home. We could get them into a dogfight they aren’t expecting because they hadn’t seen an offense like ours and we’re more effective at running and passing the ball than the Rams are.

The Titans game is weird. It’s hard to control the ball with TD drives of 2, 1, 3, 4, 7 (for 22 yards), 0 (Raymond PR), and 3 plays.

The complimentary football since the Texans comeback, particularly with the reinforcements starting for Aaron Glenn, has probably been underappreciated. It has been noted, but if an otherwise reasonably smart guy like Tedy Bruschi can miss the importance of stealing three or four drives from the Pack, it’s still underappreciated. Over the past four weeks, the game plan and execution have essentially wiped out a full game of in-game defensive wear-and-tear.

The mind-boggling thing is that it looks like nobody was rushed back. And this afternoon, when we look to the north, the Northern Savages come screaming over the hill.

This is why I tend to not like the Lions starting on offense. For whatever reason, they chunk it out of the gate far too often.
