As I said at the time, it's kinda ridiculous that what Jameson did is a 15-yard penalty. Both guys were jawing, and there was nothing particularly egregious about what JaMo did. But it's not like it's a new rule that is getting a recent point of emphasis or something. You can talk all the shit you want, just don't do anything with the ball.
Outside of that, a case of bad bounces and a slew of injuries on defense turned a game that was on the road to a blowout into a nailbiter. I am telling myself that the Lions were being overly cautious with some players right now (like Montgomery last Sunday), and that they aren't particularly serious injuries.
G: Got the win and 11-1. Gibbs except for the fumble. D before the injuries. Monty.
B: Pretty much everything else, including Ben Johnson with some too cute shit at times when they had the running game rolling. Stop throwing those screens to Jamo, he’s terrible at them.
U: Injuries and Jamo’s dumb ass.

Game was about as you would expect in a divisional game but I will say it. I didn’t like how cute Ben Johnson called things today on some things. I felt he was calling too many passing plays than he needed to in the red zone. Yeah he made some good calls here and there but he really left a lot of points on the scoreboard. Offensively they was a bit off today but at least LaPorta showed up.
G:
- Thank you for that dumbassed clock management, Matt Eberflus. Just when I thought 2023 Bears at Lions couldn’t make Eberflus look any worse… that happened…
- Lions win and Thanksgiving losing streak ends.
B:
- Letting the Bears have an opportunity to win. Pass rush and coverage both died in the 2nd half. It was reminiscent of 2023.
U:
- Jamo and his stupid decision making. He needs to grow up. It’s a pattern and it’s OK to be upset about it.
at 9:06 is the play where Smith sacked Williams. The Bears' RT doesn't even try to block Smith, the LT barely even slows Muhammed. If they really were calling a delayed QB sneak and were letting the ends overpursue, then maybe Reader's dominating rush up the middle blew up the play?
That's the best I got for what happened on that play.

I hope I'm right.
It should have been offsetting penalties, the guy pushes him out of bounds and he wasn't even playing. Truthfully, the guy should have been ejected for that.
This is hilarious @ 2:08 with the blood pressure part. Was watching MicroMike on the live stream and HE WAS LOSING HIS SHIT good & proper on that last Bears drive pre-Bears fk up, ......., I said in the chat section, "Holy shit Mike, your blood pressure must be through the roof!"......, now Grossi imitating Leos fans going for a lie down with HBP.
I know he's a dirty, stinkin' cheesehead but that was funny.
"...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”
