Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Thank you all for your presence here!

I am especially thankful today. My husband was in a serious car accident yesterday and has a few transverse process fractures in his back. He's in horrible pain, he won't be working anytime soon, and is now without a vehicle....but he's alive and he'll heal.

I'm also thankful for this team. It's been a fun season! Hope the next guy steps up today.

So sorry to hear this Deb. Hoping and praying he has a quick and complete recovery. GO LIONS!

Holy shit. Major slice of perspective pie on Thanksgiving. That sounds like a horrible day for you both and equally unbelievable that he is still in the land of the living after a serious car crash. All other things that were on your list to be thankful for, Deborah; stuff all that, this will be tops no doubt.
And if he's like me when in pain, (a whiny pain in the a$$) ....., just do what my wife Sacha would do, "Ok, listen up, Lions are on now ok so STFU!"

From what I hear the throwbacks will be worn today, not the blueberries.......

Deb hope he gets healthy and his pain subsides. A great pain over the counter medication is two Advil (Ibuprofen) and two extra strength tylenol (acetaminophen) every 8 hours as needed for pain.

Doctors are steering patients away from those nasty narcotics.

Back pain is about the worst pain possible.

That truly sucks! I remember my dad was in a bad wreck when I was a kid. On a Sunday. He'd always bring home donuts after golfing. The tow truck brings our totaled Subaru home, and my 3rd grader self asks my dad, "Where are the donuts?"
