    • Yeah, I know the Houston offense isn’t great right now. But the Lions D kept giving the offense a chance and that’s all you can ask. Tremendous effort. Mixon has run on just about everybody so shutting him down was impressive. And Stroud hit some of those tight windows throw early but couldn’t keep that up.

      • Who's going to do the GBU?

Ugly was the 5 interceptions of Goff, but we found a way to win the game!

          • Glenn deserves major kudos for what he did with the defense and Campbell was giving it to him in postgame interviews.

I think you’re seeing a resilient team that believes in itself and doesn’t get too down when things go bad. Houston on the other hand got very tight as the game went on.

Goff wasn’t great but the INT at the end of the half was a hail mary. Campbell seemed to think only one of the INTs was questionable. The others were bang bang plays.

The protection for Goff was bad in the first half. I’m just glad they were able to put drives together in the 2nd half.

                      • The 5 int is the big headline number, but it was kind of weird. Two were tipped passes, one was a hail Mary. I didn't quite get what was going on at the goal line int on the pass to LaPorta, Sam didn't appear to see the ball because he was open and the defender was in trail position.

                            That's what my son said.

I told you guys this game wasn't over after the half. This team is too good to give up on them so early. They've earned that. The first three games they played poorly and I was concerned but not now. They've proved to me they are for real. I was not nervous before this game. I'm hugely confident in them. As the game progressed that confidence was severely challenged but it proved to be accurate.
                            GO LIONS "24" !!

                              • The Detroit Lions is the first NFL team to win a game while trailing by 15+ points and also throwing 5+ interceptions since the 1970 Baltimore Colts did that against the Chicago Bears in 1970.
