Ruiz is also tied to the idea that a QB needs to be mobile. He was chastising Brady for gushing about Goff because Goff plays like Brady (smarts, anticipation, not mobile) and said Brady didn’t get that you need a mobile QB to win the SB in today’s NFL

This was of course after all the guys on the pod gushing about Lamar, who’s bombed out multiple times in the playoffs and never reached a SB despite playing on one of the best teams in the league for his entire career.

Plus the fact that limited mobility QB Tom Brady recently won a Super Bowl this decade --against KC and Reid/Patrick Mahomes, which means that Ruiz has either a) Forgot or b) Don't want to mention that fact.

      What a clown.

There's like an cognitive dissonance with these guys. Everybody lionizes Brady because of his success and for good reason. He went to 10 Superbowls and won 7 of them. But they never think that maybe a guy playing like Brady is a good thing. I don't get how you absolutely have to have a mobile quarterbacks in today's NFL. The NFL offensively is not that much different than it was 20 years ago. Pre and post snap adjustments are more important than mobility. Kyle Shanahan is basically running his father's offense from the late 90's.

Ruiz and a lot of folks are suffering from a thing called and Anchoring Effect. Basically in laymans terms, your first impression of something anchors your opinion and it clouds your judgment.
Not sure it’s just Flores - Belichick had our whole OL on skates and made Goff look like the same the last time we played them (different team).

The guy slowed down Jim Kelly and the Bill’s great K Gun offense - he knows a thing or two. Sometimes you just have to doth your cap to a great.

That said, Goff is a different guy. He looks the best pre-snap of any QB in the league that I’m seeing, while before he used to have the defense radio’d in with no freedom or trust in him to adjust protections or play call.

Two huge checks Goff made in Minny (far from easy). Audible to the Gibbs run and going to empty set to hit Raymond on 3rd and 7 after perfectly adjusting protection.

What does that mean, TLL, (or anyone?)

I just don't consider that disaster in New England in Campbell and Goff's second year to be indicative to anything. That team was still in the formative state of the strip it down to the studs rebuild. Goff was bad in that game because he was trying to do a too much, the defense stunk (made Zappe and Stevenson look amazing). Also in that game the Dan Campbell penchant for 4th down attempts back fired as they were 0-6. When your defense stinks and you are playing from behind things get out of hand. That game was the total opposite of complementary football.

Had to do some googling on Annie Agar and her brother. Great stuff and that really was comedy gold.

She does a weekly NFL "meeting". It has quick camera cuts and she plays all of the teams. She takes same jabs at everyone with some non football references tossed in for good measure.

                        She's pretty funny

I love her sense of humor. She has a deep character flaw, being a Packers fan, but her brother balances it out. He's awesome.

With that Dan Campbell schnoz, she should come on over and be a Lions fan.

I think Annie is great, except that she grew up in Michigan and is a Packers fan. The karma from her brother is well-earned

So (<<-- Legal) she's like an Edinburgh person supporting a Glasgow team? Come on, Annie FFS....., you got to be better than that!
